How is the Gastric Balloon Placed?
Anesthesia
The procedure is performed under mild sedation or light anesthesia and typically takes about 15-20 minutes.
Placement

Treatment

Removal
After 12 months of treatment, the gastric balloon Spatz3 is deflated and removed in an endoscopic procedure.
